Join us in brightening the days of those in our community, such as senior citizens and patients, by contributing homemade art cards. Craft one-sided or unfolded cards with uplifting drawings. If desired, add a personal touch by including your age, name, and state/city. Your generosity and creativity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
Guidelines
Guidelines
• Cardmakers, please send unsealed handmade cards—either blank or with messages. Sign with your first name and state at the bottom of your art.
• If you write a message, make it legible and in large print. Do not include personal information including your address or email.
• General every day “thinking of you” cards are best since we do not have any personal information on the recipient of your card.
• Address your cards generically rather than to any specific individual.
• You can have just a blank card with your artwork or you can include kind and uplifting messages in your cards.
• You do not need a separate envelope for your card. You can make folded or postcard-style cards. If you choose to have an envelope for your card, do not seal the card in the envelope.
• Do not include glitter, confetti, or any embellishments that are not securely attached to the card.
• Do not include food, candy, or other care package items with your cards.
• Make sure your happy messages are generic and nonreligious, as not all people celebrate all holidays. Again, general every day “thinking of you” cards are best. Also, avoid mention of any other specific holiday or date (i.e. Christmas) as cards are given year-round.
• Avoid any suggestion that the recipient’s situation needs improvement such as “Feel Better” or “Cheer Up.”

By submitting your cards to Kind-Acts, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
• You grant Kind-Acts a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the submitted cards to distribute them to nursing homes or other similar facilities.
• You affirm that you are the rightful owner of the submitted content or have obtained all necessary permissions for its use.
• Kind-Acts will not return the submitted cards to the sender. Once received, the cards become the property of Kind-Acts and will be distributed.
• You understand that the submitted cards may be publicly displayed on the Kind-Acts website, social media pages, or other promotional materials to showcase the project and encourage participation.
• This is a non-monetary transaction, and you will not receive any compensation or financial benefit for the submitted cards.
• By submitting your cards, you affirm that you have read and understood the terms outlined above and agree to abide by them.
Kind-Acts reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
